Bone Tac Coffee
At some point during my journeys through Central America I developed such an affinity for fine coffee that I began to make my own. I go to the fields and decide which beans I want and from where. I oversee the processing on site. Then the transport. Then the drying in the sun. Then the roasting. Grinding. Packing. And what I once kept for myself and close friends, I’m now offering to you.
Coffee done right. We don’t just slap a cool sticker on our bag of coffee in which we have no idea what it is or where it came from (contrary to almost everyone else). We hand source our coffee one bean at a time from the best mountain farms in Honduras and follow it through every step of the process until I load hundreds of pounds of it into my suitcases and fly it right to our US facility. No matter how dangerous the area, no matter how difficult to access, no matter what it takes. When we started selling coffee it came with a promise to bring you the best coffee on the planet. Coffee no one else in the US even has access too: A combination of nutty, herbal coffee from Timor and the naturally sweet and smooth chocolate goodness of native Honduran Caturra, this Lempira coffee is high grown high in the mountains of Santa Barbara. This coffee is as smooth as it gets, medium roast, and full flavor. Each bag contains at least 12 ounces of ground coffee.
My growers have been growing coffee for many generations without pesticides or mechanized processing, and it's guaranteed to be organically grown. They still make it the same way they have for thousands of years. The people that haven’t brought in heavy equipment, or partnered with big American companies in agreements to cut corners. The high mountain fincas you can only access with our exotic 4x4 rigs in the dry season, that’s where we source our coffee. We know these peoples personally. They are our friends. We work side by side with them not only to bring you the best Coffee available, but also to create a sustainable environment here and promote a healthy economy not based off the production and sale of illegal drugs, or at the sole benefit of major corporations, like most of the neighbors. All sales are final.
